    • Resignation of EC Members Mr Vinod L K and Mr Sivakumar Andiappan due to personal reasons were accepted by the committee
    • Mr Pramod ( Block- A-13, Flat No 102) and Mr M Kumaran ( Block No B-9, Flat no 102) were proposed and accepted as replacement for the Resigned EC Members unanimously
    • Following Issues that affect the Residents of the SSM Nagar are identifed and Executive Committee has decided to take immediate steps to approach appropriate authorities and find permanent solution for the same
      • OPEN SPACE TERRACE COVERAGE with Poly corborante Sheet by Builder
      • Mini Bus facility to SSM Nagar by Transport Department
    • Its been decided to have a signature campaign to collect signatures of all Residents and send a Memorandum to Builder on issue (a) for Covering OTS and Transport Minister for issue (b) providing Mini Bus facilitiy respectively.
    • To pursue and immediately address the Street light issue of Sector 1 with Panchayat and EB
    • Grievances of Residents expressed during General Body were discussed and Cost Estimates to be taken..
    • EC committee has decided to meet Every Third Sunday of the Month between 4.00 P.M. to 6.00 P.M

    • We have intiated the Mother Theresa Park cleaning work and executed with the help of volunteers. Planned to continue the same on every weekend
    • Arranged for property tax collection camp on 20.02.2021 at the Mother theresa park
    • Regarding the Bus tranport facility discussed another alternative of requesting the Government to reroute the existing bus routes 55D and 55M which goes via NGO Nagar bus stop to extend their travel to TVS Emerald and SSM Nagar. Planned to get the appointement from Transport minister or MTC Chairman. As the election is announced our activies are put on hold.
    • Signature campaign for the mini bus and OTS Facility is over. An registered letter was sent to the builder on 2nd March 2021
    • New EB connection needs to be obtained for the sector one street lights. We need to submit a letter to the BDO/ Panchayat office
    • Regarding painting the speed brakers, we obtained the quotation from 2 vendor which costs around 1 lakh to 1.5 Lakhs. The cost involved is beyond our budget. We were working towards any low cost solutions
    • On 21st February 2021 we have given our written petition to relay the Alapakkam – Mappedu Road and added in the petition, for the minibus from Tambaram to Perungalathur to the Kanchipuram constitution, Member of Parliament Mr.Selvam.

      • Rera Case Judgement needs to be communicated to all the Flat owner of the SSM Nagar
      • Communication to all the association members, requesting them donation for the legal expenses
      • Till now we have incurred Rs.28,000 towards the legal expenses for RERA Case. Mr.R.Sathish kumar and Mr.N.Natarajan have paid Rs.17000/- and Rs.11000/ – respectively on behalf of association. Executive committee has approved repayment of the same to them.
      • In order to prevent the unorganised roadside shops occupying our Mahatma Gandhi Road and platforms, we have decided to lodge a complaint to Traffic Police, Law & Order copying local panchayat office.
      • We rectified the street lights which got repaired due to heavy rains and the labour cost for the same Rs.2400 has been approved by the committee
      • We had sent a registered post to the CM Cell and all the stakeholders of the Govt body, seeking the permanent solution for the rain water drainage. In response we got calls from Vandalor Dashildar and VAO Nedungundram
      • The Executive committee put on record our gratitude and appreciation to our MLA Mrs.Varalakshmi Madhusudhanan for taking quick action in solving the water stagnation problem during last month’s rain.

    • The Amount spent by Mr.K.Thyagarajan towards buying accessories for EB Connection for street lights will be paid from association account (Rs.7205/-)
    • Executive committie appreciates the intiatives taken by Senior Citizen group, Green Initiative group and other volunteers who have done a great job of cleaning and maintaining the Mother Theresa Park and Annie Beasant Park
    • Committie had decided to sent a formal communication requesting members to select blockwise representative.
    • Painting of Speed breakers has to be done on trial basis
    • “Mr.Rukmangatha Rajan C5 301 has agreed to pay Rs.5000/- as sponsorship towards RERA legal charges

    • Gettign Quotation for Notice board – Target date 20th April 2021
    • “RERA case:
      It is decided to sent an email to all the members requesting donation for the RERA case. Target date 26th April 2021”
    • It is decided to sent an email to all the members with a format to reply to email from builders about hand over of maintenance
    • We appreciate the efforts of the volunteers whom contributed their time and money to complete the work of painting the speed breakers. It is initiated in our AGM meeting and now we completed the work.
    • We appreciate Mr.K.Thyagarajan who contributed his time and effort to connect the existing EB line to the street lights of Sector one. The labour charge Rs.3600 for the street light connecting work has been accepted by the committee.
    • We sincerely appreciate all the volunteers which includes the senior citizens of our nagar whom contributed their time and effort to rejuvenate the Annie Beasant park

    • May and June 2021 meeting was not conducted due to Pandemic situation
    • We had organised Covid-19 Vaccination camp, executed by Nandhivaram/Othivakkam Govt.Primary Health Center with the help of our members, Volunteers and SSM Maintenance team. 250 People got benefited by these camps
    • We have been liaising with various Govt and Pvt organisations to conduct vaccination camp in our nagar. Will keep you posted about the updates.
    • We discussed the RERA case status. It has been informed that final arguments were completed and we are waiting for the Final Judgment
    • As per the MOM of 28th March we had finalised the Notice Board size as 2×3 feet to be fixed in all the blocks to stick the bills and important announcement. We had decided to get donations from the commercial shop owners for the notice board. We seek the support of all members.
    • We also decided to put a sticker on all lifts containing the information about emergency contacts and Outside the lift “Stick No Bill” stickers. Our committe member saravanan will be leading this activity with the support of other members
    • We had arranged to distribute the token given by our local ration shop
    • We had tentatively planned to conduct the 4th Annual General Body meeting for the period of 2020-2021 on 3rd week of August 2021
    • We are in the process of finalizing the block Coordinators, the list will be released soon.

    • City union bank at sadhandahapuram arranged for a Gold loan mela, Children Savings account and account opening event on 28th July 2021
    • In tie-up with an E-services company we facilitated a camp for all the Govt E-services on 24th July 2021
    • We have been liaising with various Govt and Pvt organisations to conduct vaccination camps in our nagar. Will keep you posted about the updates.
    • We discussed the RERA case status. It has been informed that final arguments were completed and we are waiting for the Final Judgment
    • Executive committee members have decided to have an advisory committee which will consist of the senior citizen members who volunteer to contribute their time and effort for our association activities. Mr. Muthukrishnan from B10 405 will be the co-ordinator for this new committee and proposed members were Srinivasakumar sir, Nandhini Madam, Rukmangatha Rajan and Raguraman sir
    • We also decided to put a sticker on all lifts containing the information about emergency contacts and Outside the lift “Stick No Bill” stickers. Our committee member saravanan will be leading this activity with the support of other members. Work in progress.
    • Damaged street light cables have been replaced and repaired by our committee member Mr.Thiyagarajan. The money spent on the same (Rs.5600) has been approved by the committee.
    • We are in the process of finalizing the block Coordinators, the list will be released soon. Work in progress. Mr.Senthil Kumar and Mr.Natarajan will be finalising the list soon.
    • Our association website renewal and maintenance payment of Rs.5900 has been approved by the committee.
    • Independence Day will be celebrated on 15th August 2021 at 8:00AM, following the Covid-19 protocol and Mr.Sivasankar will do the arrangements.

    • We are yet to receive the certified copies of the Amended by law which is submitted to the Sub register office in spite of regular follow ups. It is resolved to conduct the Annual General Body Meeting on 19th December 2021, Subject to the receipt of Amended by law from the Sub Register Office.
    • In order to expedite the process of obtaining the certified copies of the amended by law we have debuted a team consisting of Prof.Palani, Mr.Baskaran and Mr.Sivasankar to follow up with the Sub Register Office.
    • As Conducting Elections without getting the amendment ratified by the Sub Registrar office is a futile exercise (as the amendment consists of a new structure of office bearer team), it is therefore resolved to decide the date of Association Election in the upcoming Annual General Body Meeting.
    • It is resolved till such time the elections are conducted, the existing team will continue in office.
    • Our treasurer Mr.Sathish Kumar has donated Rs.5000 towards the legal expenses. And for the same cause we received Rs.1000 from Mr.Vignesh A4 204. On behalf of our association we thank them both
    • We had completed conducting block wise meetings in the following blocks. A14(17th October 2021) and Single Bed room blocks on 30th October 2021. We encourage every block co-ordinators to conduct meetings in their respective blocks.
    • As we need an office space for the association activities, we have decided to send a request to the builder’s office requesting them an office space for the association.

    • Our Committee approves Rs.6600 towards printing expenses of Rera Judgment Leaflets, stickers to paste in the lifts(Stick No Bill) and Lift Emergency information
    • The team has reported on receiving the amended by laws copies that the work is in progress.
    • We had completed conducting block wise meetings in the following blocks. B09, A7, A15, A16, B1 to B6, Sector 1(E1,E2,E3,A1 & A2). We encrouage every block co-ordinators to conduct meeting in their respective blocks.
    • We had decided to install a Flex Board Highlighting the RERA judgment in our nagar and approved an approximate budget of Rs.9000 for the same.
    • We had sent a registered post to the builder on 9th December 2021 requesting office space for our association. Till now we didn’t receive any reply from the builder. We are in the process of identifying a room in our nagar.
    • Our committee appreciated Mr.Srinivasakumar who voluntarily visited all the flats in his block A12 to conduct the block meeting.
    • Last month Sector one was affected by flood water and to arrest the water input we purchased sand bags from Hardware store and employed a JCB. The overall cost is Rs.1800 for JCB and Rs.2000 for sand bags with transportation. Our committee approves these expenses of Rs.3800.
